In the weeks leading up to one's wedding, most brides-to-be are working furiously on last-minute wedding plans, updating their registry, or packing for their honeymoon.
However, back on June 8, soon-to-be brides in Estonia had different agendas just ahead of their big day.
Dressed in their wedding gowns, competitive brides faced off in the annual brides running race. The competition -- held in the town of Narva -- took place on the grounds of the historic Narva Castle, which dates back to the 13th century.
