My wife and I love attending events. Whether its a concert, baseball game, plays, or concerts, we always make time for them but only recently did we consider purchasing season tickets after my brother gifted his in-laws season tickets to the New York City Opera. 
This got me thinking - why not register for season tickets to an event you and your future spouse will enjoy together? After checking out some SimpleRegistry member pages, I realized couples are already doing this! One couple registered for partial season tickets to San Francisco Giants games, another to the New York Philharmonic, and another for annual museum passes to the MoMA in New York City. I can't think of a better wedding gift to ask for that will create memories and experiences to last a lifetime.
